Phil Wastell celebrates first year with a promotion to Lead Engineer
This week marks two milestones for Phil Wastell.
Firstly, Phil has officially celebrated his first year with True9. Secondly, we're delighted to announce his promotion to Lead Engineer.
When Phil joined us, both parties shared the ambition that he would grow into a technical leadership role over time. While today's announcement won't come as a surprise internally, it is the result of a year of hard work, commitment and consistently demonstrating the qualities we look for in our senior people.
Over the last 12 months, Phil has made a significant impact across the business. From supporting complex client projects to helping shape our engineering practices, he's become a trusted voice within the team and someone others naturally look to for guidance and support.
His promotion recognises not only his technical expertise, but also the way he approaches problem solving, collaboration and continuous improvement.
When we recruited Phil, the ambition was always that he would progress into a leadership role over time. The pleasing thing is that he's more than justified that belief through his actions over the last 12 months.
He's become an important part of the team, both technically and culturally, and has consistently demonstrated the qualities we value in our leaders. This promotion is thoroughly deserved and we're excited to see the impact he'll have as he takes on greater responsibility and helps shape the technical direction of True9 in the years ahead.
