Why Salts Mill

Our new home gives us room to breathe and space to grow.

As a remote-first business, we still champion flexibility, yet we encourage the team to use the office whenever it suits their needs, whether for collaboration days, client workshops, or just a change of scenery.

Located on the main train line accessible from Leeds and Bradford, Saltaire is an easy commute from across Yorkshire, Manchester, London and beyond, opening up a wider talent pool and making it easier for clients and partners to visit and enjoy the surrounding area.

The original brief to Architects Lockwood and Mawson by Sir Titus Salt was to create a new community where Salt's workforce would be healthier, happier and more productive and this is something that we've taken to heart when creating our home within Salts Mill and Saltaire village itself.

The Power of Place

Salts Mill isn't just an office building; it's the jewel in the crown of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire, surrounded by history, creativity, and culture. Inside, you'll find independent shops, the renowned 1853 Gallery (home to one of the largest collections of work by David Hockney), and the always-bustling Salts Diner.

Step outside, and you'll find the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, the River Aire, and the open green space of Roberts Park, all perfect for a walk or a change of scenery while working. The village itself is full of cobbled streets, independent cafés, and boutique shops, the ideal balance between calm, creativity and time to think.

It's a setting that blends industry with artistry, making it the perfect backdrop for a consultancy like ours. It inspires creative thinking, encourages balance, and connects us to a thriving business community of like-minded, forward-thinking companies.

We're also conscious of sustainability. By repurposing space within a historic building and encouraging flexible commuting, we're contributing to a more sustainable, hybrid way of working that fits the modern world.
